The young girl was reportedly raped and murdered in Borpung, a locality under the jurisdiction of the Dolamara police station<\/a>. The community has been left reeling in the aftermath of this atrocity, crying out for justice and severe punishment for the perpetrator.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"In response to the tragic event, MLA Dorsing Ronghang has stepped forward, leading a team from the Autonomous Council to offer their condolences and support to the bereaved family. During a time when the family was grappling with the loss and the post-mortem examination was being conducted in Diphu, Ronghang, accompanied by council chairman Raju Tisso and several executive members, visited the family to provide comfort in their time of mourning.<\/span><\/p>\n

Demonstrating a commitment to stand with the victim’s family, Legislator Dorsing Ronghang announced a financial assistance of one lakh rupees on behalf of the Council. This aid is intended to help with the expenses related to the funeral rites of the young girl. The council confirmed that Chief Executive Member Tuliram Ronghang, along with other council members, would attend the funeral scheduled for February 2nd at the victim’s residence and would also contribute an additional one lakh rupees to support the family further.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking to the media, MLA Dorsing Ronghang expressed vehement condemnation of the crime, stating that such acts are utterly unacceptable for any reason. The legislator has been vocal in demanding that the perpetrator face stringent punishment. The call for justice has been echoed by the entire Autonomous Council, reflecting the community’s outrage over the crime.<\/span><\/p>\n

The quick response of law enforcement in bringing the suspect under control has not gone unnoticed.
