Gogoi accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of misleading the nation and neglecting issues of corruption.
He alleged that the BJP government in Karnataka was involved in corruption and pointed out deficiencies in the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Gogoi expressed confidence in the INDIA coalition of opposition parties and their prospects in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
He criticized the renaming of the Nehru Memorial Museum as an attempt to disrespect the Nehru-Gandhi family, highlighting the difference in priorities between Congress and BJP leaders. The Nehru Memorial Museum and Library has officially been renamed as the Prime Ministers’ Museum and Library Society as of August 14.
