On Friday morning, around 6.45 am, an MSRTC bus carrying 70 passengers, mostly school and college students, collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction on Chinchpada-Wada Road in the Palghar district of Maharashtra.
55 passengers, including 47 students, were injured in the accident, though none of them suffered any major injury, police inspector Suresh Kadam confirmed. The injured, including the bus driver, were taken to local hospitals for primary treatment and were then allowed to return home.
