Finally, Sumi Bora and Tarkik Bora were arrested. After the arrest of the great fraudster Vishal Phukan, Sumi Bora and Tarkik Bora had been on the run. However, after only 10 days on the run, they were eventually caught. Vishal Phukan, Sumi Bora’s accomplice, was arrested by the police on charges of defrauding crores of rupees under the pretense of fake trading.
The STF took custody of Shumi and Tarkik from in front of the Dibrugarh District Library. The STF took them into custody at 6:30 AM. Today, by 10 AM, the STF will hand them over to the Dibrugarh Police. This information was conveyed by the Director General of Police, G P Singh, through ‘X’.
On Wednesday afternoon, sumi Bora sent a video to the media stating that she would surrender. In the video sent to the media, Chumi portrayed herself as completely innocent.
