The victims, Gaurav Sharma, aged 12, and Kaushik Sharma, aged 14, were students at Tangla Kendriya Jatiya Vidyalaya and resided in Jorpukhuri, Tangla. They went missing on Friday, December 20, after heading for school, leading to an intensive search by their worried families and local residents. Their bodies were tragically discovered just three kilometers from their home.

Authorities swiftly intervened, detaining a relative of the victims suspected of committing the crime. Police have seized the murder weapon and are meticulously collecting evidence to build a solid case against the accused.
