Two people were killed in a road accident on National Highway 27 at Betkuchi in the early hours of Thursday after a speeding truck rammed into a stationary vehicle, police said. The driver and the handyman of the moving truck sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.
According to preliminary information, the collision occurred when the moving truck struck the stationary truck with significant force, causing extensive damage to the front portion of the moving vehicle. Emergency responders and police reached the spot shortly after the crash.
