A tragic incident has occurred in Chenga Vella of Barpeta district. A family has lost two boys in separate accidents over the span of two years. Due to an electrical short circuit, a young man from Khanda Karpura village in Vella met a tragic end. The deceased young man was named Vella Al Kalam Haque.
It is noteworthy that businessman Harun Ali’s son, Kalam, was 19 years old. According to available information, this tragic incident occurred due to a short circuit in the inverter at his father’s hardware store.
The incident resulted in the youth being taken to Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College in Barpeta in a critical condition, but the doctors declared him dead. This tragic news has plunged the residents of greater Bhella into mourning. It should be mentioned here that last year, Harun’s eldest son, Idul, also known as Ainul, died in a road accident. Losing both sons in such a manner has left the unfortunate family devastated with grief.
